Qualifications for Entrance Examination
Monks or Nuns under 40 with High School diploma or Buddhist College Graduates.
Duration of Study
Four years to complete all requisite credits, a maximum of another two year extension possible to those who really require.

School Objectives
With the close combination of both the spirit of Buddhist traditions and modern information tech, we fully support and cultivate our Sangha talent who are determined to be both the successful performers of theory and practice of the Buddha’s teachings. We therefore set up this Taiwan affiliate in cooperation with the Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University in Thailand that holds an international reputation. The first term of our university began on September 10th, 2003 and the first term graduation ceremony was held in July, 2007. The 6th recruit is in progress.
Academic Distinctions
i. A Bachelor's Degree will be conferred to the graduates by the Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Thailand, an acknowledged university in many countries all over the world.
ii. The qualifications for entrance are low, but the criterion for graduation is high. We will hold a three-day lecture for all the examinees before the entrance examination. All the examinees are welcome.
iii. Faculty members, including venerable masters and respectable professors, either here or abroad obtained their Masters’ degrees or Doctors’ degrees.
iv. To broaden their mind / vision as well as improve / practice their language skills, we would arrange our students once a year totally free to visit / attend the Buddhist –related international Conference.
v. All courses are basically taught in Chinese. Additional English courses are provided to those whose language skills are insufficient.
School Offerings
a. No tuition fee, miscellaneous expenses, and accommodations would be charged.
b. The scholarship will be offered to the distinguished students.
c. Those graduates who have outstanding academic performances will be admitted to our graduate school for the advanced study or Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Thailand for Master's Degree or Doctorate.

Remarks: Our University is a religious institute that provides excellent education only to the Sangha talent, and it thus offers a great opportunity to the monastics in pursuit of advanced study Competition is relatively low and Admission rate is on the other hand high.
